Very pleased to share that I was short listed for The Royal Society of Literature Sky Arts Awards for Playwriting 2022!

This year has been such a rollercoaster for my writing journey (and life) that I haven’t really taken a moment to take stock and give thanks for all the opportunities and lessons.

Since gaining a bursary place on the 503 Spring Writers Programme in March, I have seen my first short play performed, had a play proposal reach the Final Short List for the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize 2022 and now been short listed by Sky Arts RSL.

Graced with highs and lows- I have received lots of positive personalised feedback alongside tonnes of rejections and the general stresses and disappointments of being a trying to be a writer in a world where everyone wants to be a writer lol!

Although I am still working on the confidence to share my work more, one of the best aspects of this year’s writing journey has been all the amazing plays I have seen and read and meeting so many incredible writers and creatives all on the same journey of expression and creativity! So here’s to more opportunities, lessons and joy! xx
